This site is primarily a place for me to file items I find of interest. While I do not intend or expect it to be comprehensive on any subject, I do view it as a personal resource. That is not to say visitors and their comments are not welcome, should they chance here or find something of interest. As a secondary purpose is for me to sort through some thoughts I also pretty much view anything I put up here as in draft form, meaning I may add to a given post or alter any comments I might make within a post, with ot without noting the fact, as I come across new material I think relevant, note errors, change my perspective, or just think of a better way of saying something, though I hope I do not abuse that freedom I allow myself. As I am not advertising this site I think it should not be much of a problem, but it also seems to me an explanation is in order should someone come here and notice any ”unannounced” changes to some post.

Great site I would like to ask if I can make some translation on polish language from materials which are posted here and put it on my blog. I’m not sure if this translations which I publish on my blog are correct in law but I will post them. I recomend you site which is called arabia.pl this site is in polish language and is run by arabist from University of Warsaw they have english version too. Lately they add parts about Afghanistan and Caucas.
